Only difference being of course you never lose money on your family home until you have to sell,

History shows us that housing is cyclical. On the other hand history shows us penny stocks have a high mortality rate and many have started out with high hopes only to meet an ugly death. 

Whilst I am hoping for the big payday with 4DS I am realistic enough to accept there is a possibility it could all lead to diddly squat. Remember the absolute bulldust from the 'impossible to fail rah rah' brigade during the SP run up to 13 cents (yes 13 cents ffs) in July through to August. They were all getting ready to throw in their jobs and start cruising around the world. When the magic didn't happen and the SP crapped itself they all skulked off with the tail between their legs without even the courtesy of a goodbye.

I would suggest the relative strength in the SP during this markets current bearish move is that players are mindful that January 18 is not far away and the FOMO factor is in play again. 

Like you and every other person playing the stock market we all dream of the multi bagger but a penny stock is akin to betting on a racehorse. Put your hard earned into a house or some blue chip stocks and you will always get a feed, back a loser at the races and those $$$$ are gone, evaporating into the ether without so much as an echo. Throughout my life I have lived by the mantra of only betting what I can afford and am prepared to lose and that was only after the house was mortgage free at a relatively young age to ensure I always had a roof over my head if things went bad.

My take on 4DS is exactly this, hoping for a multi bagger but certainly not taking it as a given and even prepared for the unthinkable in most 4DS posters eyes.
