Totally agree regarding risk Tex. Most investors in speculative low cap stocks like 4DS don’t seem to realise that the only thing they have any control over is the amount of risk they carry. To think that HC Posters can influence the SP of a company to me seems to be quite delusional, IMO. To risk a maximum of 2% of your total capital on 4DS is a rational decision. I think some common sense regarding the total amount of capital that is allocated to the spec sector should also be a major consideration.

I’m not sure of the accuracy of this statistic, but I’ve been told that if you were to take all of the spec stocks on the ASX, and by spec I mean those stocks that do not currently generate any revenue from their product or service, only one (1) in forty (40) can be expected to survive. Most are in the business of selling a dream to Investors and via continual CRs fund large payments to Management and their BOD. Now I don’t for a minute believe that this is the case with 4DS, and that’s why I am still a holder of 4DS shares. But we all have to accept that until a deal is made regarding selling the technology the historical odds of success of 1 in 40 are in the worst case still in play. This I believe is the main reason that, along with the current general market sentiment towards high risk speculative investments, the 4DS SP is trading at the current level.
