    Yes, you must have bought before 5pm of ex-div date. So, even at the closing auction of ex-div date (23/12/08), you will appear on record at record date (31/12 - not 30/12 as I previously mentioned). If you buy today and sell this arvo, you will not be entitled to divvy. You must be holding until tomorrow.
