42% of expenses for 2013 relate to directors fees! From the annual report, they had around $3.5 million in expenses for 2013 and the remuneration report shows directors paid themselves $1.4 million!
I am astounded by this. I don’t think shareholders should stand for this no matter how much they like the company. I kindly suggest that shareholders make the effort to send in their proxy forms voting against the remuneration report.
The meeting is scheduled for 24 November 2013. I still remain positive on GWR’s long term future.
