I checked out the reference to the first one. Taken very much out of context:

" The impulse towards intolerance and violence may initially be focused on the West, but over time it cannot be contained. The same impulses toward extremism are used to justify war between Sunni and Shia, between tribes and clans. It leads not to strength and prosperity but to chaos. In less than two years, we have seen largely peaceful protests bring more change to Muslim-majority countries than a decade of violence. And extremists understand this. Because they have nothing to offer to improve the lives of people, violence is their only way to stay relevant. They don’t build; they only destroy. […] The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. But to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see in the images of Jesus Christ that are desecrated, or churches that are destroyed, or the Holocaust that is denied.”

    Seems OK to me.

So, number two? I can't find that he said that at all. A video claims one thing, but deeper analysis shows:

Video: In a 2007 interview with the New York Times, Obama recited the Muslim call to prayer in a perfect Arabic accent, and then went on to say that the Muslim call to prayer was "the prettiest sound on earth."
Actual NYT passage: Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset."

So, not "“The sweetest sound I know is the Muslim call to prayer”", and taken out of context too.

For me, one of the most beautiful sounds is a change of church bells ringing out across the English countryside. Which doesn't make me a christian by any means ....

Enough. Two falsies out of two - a load of crap.

Btw, I think Obama is the worst president in my lifetime and has done more to destroy America than any previous one. I also don't think he is actually the president anyway, by virtue of his Kenyan birth certificate. I just think people ought to concentrate on his real faults, not imaginary rubbish.
