Your logic is pretty plausible. The doubt I have is: if they intend an imminent T/O, would you first push up the base price the way they have? As you'd know,recent price history is a significant reference point in "selling" the T/O price.
I'm thinking they'll stop at 19.9%, and with no great turnaround results until, say , 2012/13 6month result, then they have 10 months to let the price settle back down again before a T/O.
We're both forecasting the future, and I've been taught that the only true thing about forecasts is that they are wrong!!! WHatever, good to have bought before this recent push.
