3000 km gas pipeline W.A. to east coast

Before leaving the Senate Nick Zenophon traded his vote for Federal government agreement to do a pre-feasability study of a pipeline from W.A . northcoast to Wallumbilla. If it were to go ahead it would give CTP another route to market. W.A. are talking about blocking it unless it gets more GST revenue. Whitlam government Energy Minister Rex Coonor's vision for a transcontinental pipeline is so close and so far. And so very needed. State governments ( greens and lock the gate ) almost killed CTP, now Federal government is giving CTP its life back, and another State government is going to impact CTP negatively if it can. Who is governing " in the interest of all Australians " ? - as everybody says they will after getting into office .
