I think you give Tesla too much credit, most of the tech in an electric car was already invented by others before Tesla even started
The only real thing missing in the EV car equation are cheaper, faster charging and lighter batteries.
The rest already existed.
The race right now is for better batteries, the rest is mostly irrelevant
