Do any of these cars have solar panels integrated into their roofs?
My cars are always parked outside, even the wife doesn’t park her’s under cover as the cattle Dogs she would be out, across the road and causing mischief ( in the blink of an eye).
I haven’t seen one EV advertised with panels but I’ve heard about the technology of making a paint that’ll do the job.
Both my vehicles are 4x4 and have to operate close to or just in the ocean ( I give the occasional stingray a scare ), how robust are these platforms?
How much is 500-1200kgs of payload going to effect distances ?
I understand that most people wouldn’t care or even consider the challenges faced by those people who rely on vehicles for anything other than going to the shops or picking up the kids/friends. Fair enough too.
I did see ( but didn’t watch) the dual cab electric car but I was wondering if it had Low Range capabilities as that is very important in my line , along with the weight issues.
Many tradies I know carry excessive loads plus trailers and such so the dream of cheap drivingmay be a ways off for me/tradies?
PS. I’m currently driving my V12 Cat powered 17 metre boat back to port, is there any advances in EV’s that’ll benefit it?
