    I am not sure of how big electric cars motors are, but will 3000 watts to travel 500klms as has been suggested.

    At 100klms an hour your travel time would be 5 hours or more.

    So the electric car motor would have to draw less 600 watts per hour.

    Is this the size of electric car motors. 600 watts? The amount 6 large old style light bulbs would draw.
