prhb - your precisely correct - politics mixed in with business - always makes it hard to sort out fact from fiction - and we all know where consolidated revenue goes...maybe a bit less in the future to the gold passes....... why should we pay for something that isn't happening... obv someone wins and someone loses (usually us consumers and taxpayers)
sorry couldn't open link - have to be a subscriber - saw it briefly before going to login screen - any chance you could take a pic or something and post it here as would love to read it this renewables is a hot topic at the moment not just for targets for climate change but energy security and blackouts.... and your quite right in that players could be using this scheme to take a position or lobby a position or who knows what, all I know is my energy costs are going up exponentially....(not just from the aircon either!!!)
