Looks like L/B was right when they said there was unlikely to be another bidder.

It will be interesting if L/B extends their offer past the 8th July closing date. If I was them I probably wouldn't so as to flush out all the short term holders and hedge funds hoping for a competing offer. I reckon L/B would then receive a lot of acceptances from these short term holders and hedge funds. I guess this would also put pressure on any competing bidder to finally show their hand before L/B receives a whole pile of acceptances.
