Look, I don't know short-term whether the stock will go up or down.

But this statement of yours convinces me that FLT have a viable and sustainable long term business model. There must be thousands of travel agents out there looking for your business, but you chose to compare FLT in each case. That tells me that even for a non-believer like you, FLT is almost a "go-to" presence for anyone booking a flight.

You can choose to book elsewhere of course, and perhaps, if FLT had turned out to be cheaper or as cheap on the particular fares you were after, you would have used them.

In practice I do exactly as you do when searching for fares, I find the cheapest I can, and then book through FLT. I always get good service, and a single point of presence should anything go wrong with my bookings when overseas. It's a win-win - I use their "fare match" policy, and they get my business and help their volume sales which provides incentive payments.
