and to get above the monthly 12sma we have to reach at least 1265 as the m/a climbs as we get close to it and as i type this the spx is holding the 1177 level requiring almost another 100 points just to reach the req'd level prior to October 1st.....obviously, there's no hard and fast rule about this view except the consistancy of the resultant failure by the index to retake the levels......
