RACQ is aware that its home repair partner Stream Group Aust Pty Ltd announced late yesterday it had entered into voluntary administration.
Our members and policyholders remain our number one priority and RACQ has taken immediate steps to ensure payment of builders who have or who are currently performing work on behalf of RACQ.

RACQ is working to directly contact those builders to ensure payment flows and continuing repairs on customers’ homes.

RACQ assures builders and other tradespeople owed money for work undertaken on behalf of RACQ that arrangements have been made for them to receive payment for the work performed.

RACQ will place our members and customers first to ensure repair work currently underway will continue at the standard and quality RACQ and its customers expect.

There should be no discernible delays in work undertaken on behalf of RACQ Insurance customers.

RACQ Insurance has been working with our home repair partner Stream Group Aust Pty Ltd under a contractual arrangement since 2007. Stream Group Aust Pty Ltd recently advised RACQ that it was unable to meet the requirements of the contract and have since entered voluntary administration.

RACQ has developed contingency arrangements to ensure the ongoing completion of current household repair work and to secure the provision of home repair support in the future.

RACQ does not expect any major disruption to current service levels at this time.

RACQ will continue to keep members and customers fully informed of the repair arrangements on their individual properties.
