I'd just like to point out something that is obvious to me. Been in the company a while now - nearly two years based on what I'd read in their announcements.
When I looked on hotcopper about this stock back then I remember everyone making comments along the lines how great the managers were. That they'd had experience with all these other companies bringing projects to fruition. And how good they were at finding projects with fantastic future prospects. I'm sure people can dig up the posts if they want to.
Now the posts are extremely negative against the directors, due to not being informed. Can I ask a question you all should think about - have the people behind the company changed? I don't beleive so, but could be wrong... So if no, then why aren't they great now? Just because they can't communicate effectively?
Is it their fault they can't provide information on their projects? Are they completely in control of all of their projects? Does the answer to that effect the level of communication about that project?
So lets maybe point out what they have done right. In the past year alone, they have purchased an asset in the UK, the have commenced production on that asset (or continued), and are now going to push for the production to increase on that by drilling further.
So does that not sound like the people who ran this company two years ago? Getting good projects and creating shareholder value?
So maybe instead of telling them to pull their heads out of you know where, maybe consider things from their point of view. Normally if they have something to say, they say it. If nothing, then nothing is said.
I still firmly beleive this stock will go somewhere. But it is a patient mans stock.
Again all my opinion only. I understand the frustration, but you all are obviously staying in this stock for a reason. Just keep that in the front of your minds!
