Ddzx ,mate very impressed,everywhere is in the middle of somewhere in Java(if that makes sense),you can be out in forest here in the middle of nowhere and around the corner someone strolls.Seriously though the river is the key,a lot of settlements congregate around watercourses.Actually I've been speaking to a Javanese archaeologist this afternoon about sources of ancient Javanese gold and the 2 principal known sources of gold for ancient jewelry were east of Wonogiri towards Madiun and further east just southeast of Jember(which is northwest of IAU's ground)The largest collections of ancient gold treasure however,have been discovered further northwest on the Dieng Plateau.I have been told that the rivers around AUK's ground are known to host alluvial gold albeit in small quantities.
