So the half yearly report came out, and in the first line or two, well it varies from the rest of the report. They had a huge drop in sales, and an increase of 21% in profits. They did have a write down of the Sharjah project, which we all know about, and is a one time expense in the right direction. There won't be a write down of this size in anything else they are doing.
EIS and everything looks like it's soon, and everything looks good.
I think they are doing wonders with that Euro Forming Services, maybe they should extend on that and get more involved in the automotive sector. I know back in Detroit their are big incentives and tax break to do so. Because anyone that has that kind of cut in their overall business, and can improve, and it's actually 29% on the EFS side, it's 21% overall for the company itself, and the Gladstone project is just an investment this stage(we aren't going to be seeing profits from rails in the next quarter or anything), then maybe this is something they should think about.
I saw in the report a section about dividends, not paying now of course. But, does anyone know if this company has intentions to pay a dividend when they fulfill they intentions on the Gladstone project and realize those profits? I have done very well with Boulder so far, I mean not if I had bought in, in 2006, but well none the less, and I only see good things for this company. If there was intention to pay a dividend, even if that means by 2013/14, I would consider being a much more long on this.
Any comments, ideas on this?
