Sure, thought someone would ask eventually.

I work in the area and naturally the new oil has brought a lot of encouragement, from new jobs to higher house prices. However, just like when it comes to discussing stocks, you always get the naysayers talking down the potential. So too with the new oil 'field.'

The rumour I heard was nothing more than, 'just because there's oil at Dorado doesn't mean it goes everywhere,' or to that effect.

Nothing more than the fear of the unknown. Typical human nature.


In fact though, the unknowns are not quite as unknown as the ignorant think hey know.
