In advanced discussions for 2applications with at least 8 other operators for 737’s that will dwarf (inrevenue) the 757 application that we’re waiting on approval to install.

    Post 36818017 by GCInvestor

The current approval we’re allwaiting on for the 757’s is about 6-8 million versus 100’s of millions in revenuewith the 737’s

Apparently we were all set to gobut Boeing felt one more area needed a sensor so had to do more testing

superior technology comparing toothers.....completely validated.......given the levels of penetrations withoperators and oems, the risk of failure is very very low....will be globalrelevant company in aerospace domain.......about a dozen applications going inparallel...

Thinking 'we' might be talking to Qantas too... he mentioned them a few times when referring to airlines not wanting theircompetitors to know what they are doing / who they are working with .... healso said of the 8 operators they are in discussions with, 50% are outside ofthe US

the appointment of several key players and the stated intention today,to continue to appoint the top people into strategic positions, has been thegreatest sign that things are moving & "follow through" isimminent, imo great info provided by all speakers, well worth a listen foranyone who missed the meeting & doubts where SMN is heading

They are more confident  withcompany  and less risk but big issue is still timeframes  at whichaverage punter  has to understand  they have little control and ifSMS applications  gets through  will be winner doesn't require  Boeing  regulation as after sales application  and thisif gets through  will be bread and butter

I will reiterate a few points & add a few.
Toby mentioned that the one thing that they cannot control for the applicationsis the timing.
"The 737s & A320s will bring in hundreds of millions of dollars inrevenue."
They are in discussion with 8 major operators 50% of which are in the U.S.A.Conversely, the other 50% are likely to be in Europe.
The WiFi deal they are working on is actually a BIG DEAL & they do not needOEM approval, as it is installed after aircraft manufacture & they can godirectly to the F.A.A. for approval.
Anodyne has increased its gross margin from 30 odd % to 40 odd % & revenueis running at about $14 million per annum. The profit from the Anodyne operationmeans that SMN costs are basically covered & there will be no need toincrease capital. This, of course, means that if there is an extended delay inregulatory approvals the company will not be burning cash.
There are currently about 100 employees.
Toby expects SMN to become a "multi-million dollar stock."
Toby also said that "they ultimately they will deliver on it".Meaning that SMN will start putting sensors on aircraft & negotiatelicensing contracts.
When Toby was again asked about his selling of SMN shares ver 2 years ago, hemade the point that he was only being remunerated in shares & not cash. Heneeded the money. Mike also mentioned that he was in a similar position &that his income was not covering his mortgage payments.
Toby made the statement that if he sold SMN shares now he would be a ravinglunatic.
There is nothing more, at this stage, that SMN can do to expedite applicationapprovals but they have employed a former Boeing employee (Lin) who has theknowledge of how Boeing operates, the number of man hours & cost for eachapplication. This will help in the negotiations with airlines when discussingthe amount of saving using SMN sensors for each application.
The final approval for each application is not exactly "faitaccompli" but near enough to being so.
Anodyne has produced CVM kits & has all the relevant parts to complete moreas required. The supply chain has been organised to ensure that there are nobottlenecks when in full production. Sensors are not being manufactured &stockpiled but if & when in excess of 4000 sensors per month requirementper month is reached they would be able to make the necessary adjustments tosatisfy demand.
The first thing SMN requires is a purchase order from an airline & alicensing agreement can be negotiated.
I was the last punter to leave after enjoying sushi & a beer. I shook allfive hands & kissed the lovely female employee goodbye. I should have gother name.
Terry Walsh indicated that they expect to hold next years AGM also in Sydney.

I’ve been disappointed in SMN this year withits progress, but NOW totally understand the regulatory process that these guysare up against, it’s basically out of their hands.
Im more confident now than ever in this company being a global success aftertoday’s call.
I haven’t accumulated hardly anymore shares this year, but after todays call Iwill start again.
The SP price will fluctuate until commercialisation, I don’t really care aswhen the “hammer goes down” the price will look after itself(this I believe).

And lastly a recording of AGM as uploaded ontoYoutube
