    Happy New Year to all AJQ shareholders.

    The last few years have been an uneven roller coaster for AJQ shareholders, with more downs than ups.

    Since knocking back 20c a share from our Chinese friends we have languished in the doldrums. Other junior explorers have experienced similar rides, such as CTP.

    I think 2018 will be a good year for AJQ because:

    * We now have an income stream that has a solid growth path.
    * We have increased our acerage in high quality areas.
    * We have good infrastructure assets (which the market hardly seems to assign any value to).
    * An increase in demand for Aisa for our product, as well as increased demand from our home market.
    * Closure of coal fired power stations closing without any significant additions to our baseload power generation (enter natural gas).
    * Funding available through M.H. Carnegie & Co
    * Diversified into Uganda
    * Management team with a clear focus.
    * Changing public perceptions about energy reality: Do you want to be “100% green” or do you want to have the lights on? Do the greenies prefer coal or gas?
    * Possible bonus for AJQ if LKO can reach an agreement with the Victorian government.
    * Increased M&A activities predicted in 2018. Whilst I don’t want to see AJQ taken over, such activity could help demonstrate how undervalued AJQ currently is.

    The one risk that worries me is the politicans changing the playing field on us. Ever changing political policies stifle investment and cause companies to change paths /focus, not to mention destroy shareholder wealth.

    IMO, 2018 is the year where all the pieces of the puzzle start to fall into place and we should start enjoying AJQ shareholders once again.

    Happy New Year to all.
