I am in Melbourne for a few weeks training with NAVY for various things. Nice to just appreciate getting dinner made each night at the mess hall, yet everyone says it's terrible, I disagree. It's well cooked and fresh.
Our rooms are nice, sharing of course, no fan, hot, butt the windows help to keep heat down.
I complimented our chiefs on our nice rooms, however everyone laughed as they thought I was being sarcastic, but I was not.
Seems young people don't appreciate much these days, but that's life, learning to appreciate what you got.
I'll still learning that lesson with my wife and 1 year old son.
Patience and steely nerves..Something reflect on for the new year for me I think.
