Thank you for your reply. I have no idea whether the Martu want it or not, hearing two contested sides of this, both sides with vested interests. My question to you, however, was not about the Martu, it was more personal. My guess is most of the Martu are not as educated as you, why are you so against it? Because you believe the others to be? There is no place for leadership here? No role for education? No role for someone with your skills to accept reality and work to make the most out of it? The reality is that it is not going away as the baselessness of your ongoing vague threats has proven and continued sniping from the sidelines is not going to change anything.
(Remember when you were gleefully counting down the days to the new board? How did that work out for you?)
I just believe that the Martu would be better served with someone with your intelligence helping them getting the best out of how things are, I would hate to see this as a wasted opportunity some time down the track. I would like to see the Martu squeeze every last benefit out of this. It won't be you helping to bring this about because you would rather wallow in some sort of false indignation and you would see victory in the Martu in a state of impoverishment with no direct pathway to a better future. Sad.
