After delving slightly deeper into the accounts, I noticed the very Profit Before Tax (ie the last line of profit before the effects of taxation kicks-in) has also dropped by 9% from 57Mil earned in full 2016 to 51.7Mil earned only throughout 2017.

Business performance-wise, it's said that this is good and that is good, but the bottomline and the 'final measurements' don't seem to tell the same thing.
