By far the most dangerous form of 'sabotage' are the RSA govt policies. They range from BEE (google it if unsure but essentially 'gives' 26% of every profitable non-indegenous company to various folk esp union bosses and those close to senior govt people although recently workers have had a bigger say after several 'cadres' became Billionaires!!), a union movement who has modelled itself on the 'Scandavian System', low productivity from workforce, threats of nationalisation etc etc. New investment has dried-up and unlikely to return for many years. Only the Chinese are pouring into the country (along with refugees) and setting-up mines. They seem exempt from a myriad of red tape including environmental legislation. Hence, it is not stretching too long a bow to foresee RSA production of minerals including MN dwindling to fractions of previous output. Gold production here is a good example. But i'm using a longish (10 yr time frame) and SRR should be analysed on its own merits. But helps to keep the macro in mind. Spec buy.
