This year’s AGM had a different focus: with an emphasis on project construction progress rather than on project planning. In the words of one Executive Director: against many odds, we (EWC) have turned the (last) corner and are now on ‘the home stretch’. EWC is well aware that all the major inter/multi-national LNG players keep a very close eye on EWC’s progress concerning the commissioning of their modular lng trains. EWC’s three major construction projects (Sengkang lng plant, Pagbilao lng hub and power station) are aligned in terms of construction completion dates, providing the company with the necessary flexibility re: buy/sell/source lng and gas.
EWC’s Philippines projects have been given priority status by the Philippines government and the World Bank is very impressed with EWC’s modular lng train concept.
Now that EWC’s projects are about to bare fruit EWC has appointed a HK based public relations company some 3 months ago. Once this PR company is ‘up to speed’ re: EWC’s history, business models, approach as well as projects, this company will handle investor relations. I would expect this company to start to handle EWC’s PR portfolio during 1st quarter 2014.
