Uranium ore doesn't give off "high radioactivity". Mild radioactivity, sure, but not high levels. You can hold it in your hand without suffering any ill effects (as long as you don't ingest it; make sure you wash your hands thoroughly afterwards.) Maybe I'm being pedantic, but the only places I'd expect to find "high radioactivity" (on earth, anyway) would be inside a nuclear reactor; the immediate surrounds of ground zero for a nuclear test; a high level nuclear waste dump; and the site of a major nuclear incident (Chernobyl or similar.)
I'm this close to giving up on these threads; the amount of ill-informed speculation and outright rumour mongering is ridiculous. To be fair, the signal-to-noise ratio improved spectacularly when I added a particular individual (not naming names, but it should be obvious) to my ignore list, but still ...
In the meantime, my advice is a bit of sage wisdom passed down from my late grandparents: "if you don't have anything worthwhile to say, don't say anything." Sit tight, and wait for the announcement from the company - it's all anybody can do right now. If that's too hard, if you're too anxious to wait, I'll repeat some advice I gave a few days ago: you're in the wrong investment, and should sell now. It's the only way to get the degree of certainty you're itching for.
