I suspect that management is focusing on the high return possibility at Mt Barrett. Once the initial drilling is done there, they'll make a decision: either a more extensive drilling program at Mt Barrett, or exploration of the two gold prospects. The sites aren't going anywhere; there's no need to burn through cash at an accelerated rate just to satisfy people's desire for fast news.

I think people are writing off the stock prematurely - we're still only one week into a drilling program that the announcement specifically said would take two to three weeks. If it was worth a gamble a month ago (or two months ago), it's still worth a gamble now. Even when the drilling is done, there will still be lab analysis to perform.

I'm tipping another 2-3 weeks, possibly 4-5, before there's any substantial news.
