I must admit that I wasn't quite sure why the update was issued. I guess sometimes decisions are slowly eased into, rather than being dramatically announced. There is no reason for the company to announce that they are proceeding with BV, they are just getting on and doing it. They are mostly focused on advancing BV and are probably proceeding as fast as possible. It is several months before the money and shares have to be handed over to consumate the purchase.
Mean while negiations and studies continue and at some point a detailed cost analysis will be presented.

Dramatic belly flop of the SP today has realigned the buy side again, to be much stronger than the sell side.

A bit like watching grass grow, but we know the soil is fertile and there is plenty of moisture available, so it should happen.
