If anyone was wondering, like I was yesterday, about the 2m. share transaction and may have looked at the 'condition' column in the course of sales details that your on-line broker provides, then the following was given to me today by Westpac:
When the code S3XT is listed it means that a specific trade has been executed through two brokers that has found a bid and ask and amongst each other and subsequently traded. Generally the S3XT only happens for non-blue chip stocks"
I still don't know why an explanation of the various codes that are shown under conditions is not given. Westpac Broking don't provide it, I don't know about other online brokers.
