Core Mining, a private company incorporated in the Isle of Man focused on the exploration, development and operation of iron ore projects in Central and Western Africa, is pleased to announce the progress of the drill programme at the Company?s flagship Avima project in the Republic of Congo, with initial results confirming a potential world class high grade iron ore deposit.
Initial results from the Company?s drill programme indicate that high grade hematite is intersected from surface down to average depths of 300 meters. The current drill programme has returned extremely high grades of iron, with grades in excess of 65% Fe. Initial results also indicate low levels of phosphorus, highlighting the high quality of the deposit.
The Company plans to continue with an aggressive drill programme and is targeting a multibillion tonne direct shipping iron ore resource at Avima
