Fair call, however divesting at the bottom of the macau market isn't great for shareholders either i would imagine.
In terms of the gaming part of crown syd, i would question whether you have actually read the proposal for the whole development and, therefore, your ability to even comment intelligently on the company's future.
Crown has been granted a 99 year RESTRICTED gaming lincense which stipulates:
No poker machines, at all.
Gaming facilities that can only be accessed by members(plus guests) with a proven turnover of an appropriate level.
No admittance by the general public, at all.
It is being built as a VIP gaming facilty not another star or crown melb.
Just thought i would clear that up for you. Obviously as shareholders getting the license ammended in the future to rival the star would be ideal, but it is a foot in a very profitable door at least
