Had a long call with company MD -
The company are very 'user friendly' and always respond to calls promptly.
They realise the value of contract was not in Ann - and realise in hindsight that this should have been stated being detrimental to issue, as they don't want to alert any other aquaculture companies to their prices.
The figure most relevant is that the price is 40 to 50% better than the Aussie price, making it well worth while shipping and growing on site in USA.
MD flies to USA tomorrow.
Other interesting facts:
Displaying in March at the Boston Seafood Expo - the worlds largest seafood expo, where they are the only Australian Barramundi representative.
Production and sales are ahead of targets.
Another 100,000 fingerlings were shipped from Cairns last Friday week, with only 500 stock lost - so they are transporting beautifully - growing well, and sales enquiries are coming in with opportunity for more to be filled.
I have a lot more scribbled down, but it's all good and I won't go into any more.
Our patience will be rewarded!
