Qantas needs 250 pilots in the next 12-18 months. Rex has 300 pilots in the books, most of which are willing to jump ship because of poor conditions. Qlink have already started cancelling flights due to lack of pilots. Rex has no jet aircraft, progression or comparables staff travel to entice pilots to stay.
