You may get given options if you participate during a capital raise (give the company money in exchange for shares) as they are generally issued at the same time .. kinda like a buy 1 get one free, or buy 5 shares get 1 option free.
Though not all companies issue options, and those that do often don't do it every capital raise event.
More commonly you can buy them on-market, if someone is willing to sell, just as you would a share, except you would buy the relevant option code instead of the share code. For example, LRSOB instead of LRS.
At the moment there are sellers seling LRSOB at 0.5c per option. It is up to you to decide if this is acceptable to you or not. Please do your own research
