I may go ahead and do it with a long term horizon but monitor it every year or so (really looking for a set and forget option)...i think over 5 to 10 years it should be ok and then reassess.
I just think this is a stock that has been beaten down as low as it can go but that now seems to be turning things round and is "too big to fail". That is my main reason for wanting to buy it.
The reasons for its demise were clear and now it seems the path to redemption is also starting to become clear. Seems like a good time to buy.
