With regards to their tax losses, I to would ahve thought that they would have more, perhaps they have significantly used them up when selling off businesses ie. AH Plant Hire, I think that would have used about $120m.

also, remember that a lot of thetime when they are reporting a loss, they are actually not recording a tax loss. This is due to amortisation of items and write downs not always being tax deductable.

to me, their report looks very similar to the last 3 when Glen Casey was there, 'yes we have a loss BUT we have an underlying profit'. they never have been able to turn that into an actual profit.

having said that, at least they must think these results are better than the last couple....at leat they have to corrage to relase these when the market is open and not on Friday night after the market has closed as per the last results.
