My understanding of the 45 day rule is that it only applies if your total franking credits are greater than $5,000.00
I stand to be corrected,but my understanding and i could be wrong,is that if your total franking credits are less than $5,000.00 then the 45 day holding rule period to use the franking credits as an offset does not apply.
