that's a good question. unfortunately, most of the shares are already in tight hands, which means it isn't the most attractive technical play. so news is critical.
this is at the tail end of an ESG funded core drilling program sampling methanes.
presumably an initial reserve estimate will be the first thing to stir some interest. after that, it is most likely going to be ESG that will decide the next move, as OIP seem to be aware that even $10mill+ doesn't go a long way in wildcat exploration, and are very cautious with regards their conventional assets.
i guess this again comes down to the fact that most of the shares are held by ESG and directors, so they don't want to see their holding diluted one iota.
definitely a long term play. i would compare getting on to this now with getting onto NSE when it was around 3c.
OIP only needs to find a JV partner for the potential 2TCF darling basin and it will probably take off.
