Thanks for the response John. I agree with your assessment of the markets & hence I have a lot of commodity exposure (through equities). I think the equity & commodity markets will continue to rise over the next few years, even under the weight of poorly performing economies, purely due to investors moving out of the bond markets & needing a place to park their money.
BSM looks very interesting, especially if they can get finance for an Albion plant. The area looks to be quite prospective for exploration as well. I'm just hoping the stock can retrace a little further to the low 30's before I make a purchase.
Plough. I've had a look at MFC & it does hold some promise. However, it usually happens that when a company owns stock in another, the price is rarely reflected in that companies own share price. Maybe it's better to own BSM directly, especially considering MFC is burning through cash, plus they would have to pay tax on any sale of BSM shares. Appreciate the pointer though.
