There was a slight error in the comments here around comparing WorkDay to TechnologyOne HCM and Payroll. Workday is a global vendor focused on many international (large scale) organisations usually operating in multiple legislative regimes. To that end HR processes are simplistic compared to meeting specific legislative compliance for payroll. American vendors have a poor record of building Payroll solutions in NZ and Australia, WorkDay does not have one built for these markets. They have focused on larger domains - USA, UK, France so far. The people using WorkDay in Australia are using alternative payroll systems and having integration issues with the handling of things such as leave. WorkDay tend to have far bigger clients than TechnologyOne but do far less and only have a small initial target market in AUS & NZ. The TechnologyOne HCM including Payroll processing works on any device across the cloud in a browser.
