Competition is always around with or without new technology, you can't assume that the introduction of WIMAX or 4G will rob top performing companies like MNF of growth & profitibility in a market that even you are indicating is set for explosive growth.

Any company in this sector being run properly will benefit from this rapidly growing sector. Geez, maybe we might even see a return to the telephony sector of Jodee Rich & Brad & crew to have another crack at building a massive customer base, you never know, just as likely as a rapid WIMAX deployment. Either way, well run VOIP companies "on the ground" will benefit from sector growth.

I think in these times we are better dealing in the here and now in terms of analyzing what consitutes good investment in the VOIP sector, seems to me that MNF have the runs on the board financially and growthwise, they have a good back-end and are technically innovative. I like being invested in a company that is profitable, has a healthy turnover and a blazing growth rate. Especially in this crap market right now!

All this talk of WIMAX, 3G, 4G, etc does not in anyway dent the future growth potential for MNF & it's peers. And besides, with billions of dollars to be spent to deploy market-wide enconomical wireless systems for the masses things is unlikely to change around these parts real soon.

When & if MNF need to adjust there offering or partner with a company to atune themselves to a changing market they will, seems simple enough.

Don't forget that MNF is a phone company, they just happen to use VOIP as their delivery technology. Customers seem to like them in growing numbers and keep paying them every month, I know I and plenty of others who do.
