Just thought I'd drop in and say g'day. I'm working in the WA ag industry as an agro and trade fx and commodities for a few clients. Have a background as a grain trader.
I guess it is old news by now but it's a pretty bleak picture in the Kwinana zone as far as cropping goes. The frosts have stopped grain fill in their tracks and subsequently quite a few guys are now cutting their crops for hay.
Grain prices have rallied slightly overnight with a bullish USDA report which at least is a minor consolation...
