The majority of the WA Wheatbelt is sitting on growing season rainfall of less than 175mm. So far we are on track to record less rainfall during the growing season than 2010.
WA produced around 5mmt in 2010, 15mmt in 2011 and this year we face a fall of 10mmt on last year's total crop unless we record significant rain in the next 2 weeks.
This would surely be fuel enough for another CBOT rally particularly in wheat.
