Let me voice my opinion on some of your opinion..

Mate, take a look at MEO and NWE.. they believed that Oil was located in their leases based on their reports, information, seismic, etc. However, it was not the case.

Of course they have a basis to believe it, however, the spec realm is based on speculation and that's the price you pay for entering in at such a low price..

Yes there are both criminal penalties and civil penalties in relation to deliberately misleading people.. However, I do not think that when WilliamCFD said "Personally i don't even believe they are drilling anything'" that he meant that they aren't physically drilling anything. It's more to say that he is saying that they aren't drilling anything viable.

I also think that the companies would not put out a statement stating that they have found anything significant until they have it tested. My reason is based on the fact that when I discussed the delayed drilling timetable with one of them prior to drilling, one particular directoR was apologetic and seemed more cautious when discussing future timetables for outcomes based on the fact that they had breached the time table to enact drilling. Maybe it's to cover their bases, or maybe it's in order to ensure shareholder satisfaction.. who knows.

So keep your head up and don't listen to people like Munjit.
