I thought they were drilling for REE/Gold/U3O8 (based on the surrounding areas)???????????

REE drilling is shallower, however based on the prior geology/information at hand, they had decided to drill deeper within the area and also examine the ground for the possibility of Au.

U3O8 may also be a possibility..

Also, nothing may be a possibility.

It was always my understanding that they were drilling for REE and Au.
