what did they say about the choke settings? lincoln need to understand a few things about drilling imho before stating things like that.
if they can not support their opinions with some detail why the well has to produce at a particular rate that they decide is suitable, then they really are talking hot air. we know the well had to follow the swift well, and be drilled less optimally across the shales natural fracture path, so it was drilled completely at odds to how everyone drills in the efs. but none the less the completion was done as per leasing requirements, and the result was pretty darn good.
we also know the well sits high in the upper efs, some drill in the lower efs where its oilier again, and some aim for the middle, this one was higher in the upper efs. and could be drilled that way because they have 3d's on hand. so traditionally in the efs play the upper is bit more gassy, so seeing a little more gas and higher pressures and a tad less oil/condensate is not a concern at all, its actually to be expected, something lincoln would be pointing out if they understood the geology. as a completion it still rates way better than the majority of efs completions in mcmullen.
