Not sure how it works with shares transferred but if it's property you still get charged CGT on value. But you can always sell your shares and have "her" buy them at your sell. You would have a potential loss you would be able to offset aswell. Just need to make sure she doesn't actually buy the shares you are selling. Had this happen once with PMG ETFs and transaction had to be reversed. Just be careful as I'm not sure on the legality of such things. But there is no reason a family member can't buy shares that's for sure.
