I could flesh that out a bit:
The world's largest copper smelter produced 900kt of copper in 2014.
Assuming 30% Cu in the concentrate that's 3Mtpa of concentrate processed.
This thread's getting a bit weird but I imagine it panning out a bit like this. All IMO:
- Permit and assay method due soon. SP goes up;
- Drilling results for 37 holes released as they come in over 2-4 months. Institutions start buying. SP goes up and up and up;
- First gold bars from testwork: SP goes up bigtime;
- Drilling results --> JORC: JORC allows institutions and producers to start buying big: SP goes up bigtime;
- 2tpd pilot plant cranks up: SP goes up bigtime;
- CR for commercial plant happens in a blink from institutional placement at <1% dilution and a very high SP;
- Plant build commences;
- More resource definition and grade control drilling;
- We go mining, stockpiling ore;
- Production!
- Order supercars.
Remember, 10% free float. There's gonna be a hell of a fight for those shares.
