I bought AQD on the back of that email.
I looked into it properly, purchased a relatively small amount using money from my gambling fund, and I am keeping my expectations fairly low... but I have no doubt that people who don't know any better put a bunch of money in with no due diligence because of how ridiculously optimistic the pitch was in that email.
I think it is incredibly irresponsible of HC to be allowing it. They should know better.
